There are three series in the collection which reflect the beauty of my home in Vero Beach Florida and inspiration from my travel experiences. Each painting is acrylic with mixed media marks on canvas.

The “Moody Blues” series reflects the serenity of the ocean, rivers, and beach. A neutral color palette of of blues, taupes, grays, and beiges is inspired by the colors of the sea, sand, and sky. An abundance of calming, negative space contributes to the soothing nature of these paintings.

The “Wonder” series includes vibrant colors in a very contemporary format reflecting the wonder of the natural world. These paintings have texture and layers of paint in a harmonious color palette.

The “Garden Delight” series includes abstract paintings of flowers, gardens, and some of my favorite landscapes. Photographs of images provide inspiration for each unique, abstracted interpretation using color, lines and shapes. Examples of the inspiration for this series include the flowers from the Biltmore Estate in Asheville North Carolina, the Rogue River in Oregon, and the Audubon Garden in my community.
